Birthdays, Baseball and Moving
The last few days have been busy. Not that it isn’t always busy at some level here in the land of Bella, but the last few days have kept me active. Last week, May 15 to be exact, was my daughter’s 6th birthday–which ended up being a 3 day celebration–plus, it’s baseball season, which equals practice and games and getting home late; and to top it all off we will be moving the end of the month. It’s times like these when I’m thankful for my geekish love of technology that leads me to purchase things like my Palm Centro (phone, pda, portable internet machine).

Do Children Know When You’re In the Mood and NEED Them to Go To Sleep?
Of course, if you have kids, you know the answer to this question is yes. But what can you do about it?
Death & Other Fun Topics People Avoid

Right Time, Right Place: The Different Moods of Sex
Let’s face it, when you’re walking down the aisles of the grocery store in jeans and a finger-paint smeared t-shirt with a Barbie Princess sticker on it from your daughter, pockets overflowing with various tissues, wrappers and string from your son, and two children arguing over who should sit in the back of the cart, sexy is the last thing from you or anyone else’s mind. But there is a time and a place for everything.
Valentine’s Schmalentines
I actually like valentines day, but it seems that as timing works, it never falls on a week when I don’t have my kids. Now, I do love my kids, they are my kiddie valentines–BUT…
Please don’t cry…
So, I’m a single mom. Well, every other week anyway. I have my kiddies every other week. This week s a non-kid week. I feel a bit guilty but I love my non-kid weeks as much as my kid weeks. Abscence makes the heart grow fonder, right? True, but sometimes the guilt gets the better of me.
